Straight Soprano Saxophone Pegs fit most saxophone or double stands. 1/4 20 screw with wing nut fits small or large holes on the stands.

These pegs work very well with the Hamilton Saxophone Stands.

When do we need to have pegs?

Well….. you cannot even play in a big jazz band without doubling on several instruments.
Lead Alto: Usually doubles on Alto Saxophone, B-Flat Clarinet, C Flute, B-Flat Soprano Saxophone and ofter time the piccolo.
3rd Alto:  can usually double on Alto Saxophone, B-Flat Clarinet, C Flute, B-Flat Soprano Saxophone and sometimes Alto Flute.
Lead or 2nd tenor: Tenor Saxophone, B-Flat Clarinet, C Flute, B-Flat Soprano Saxophone
4th Tenor; Tenor Saxophone, B-Flat Clarinet, C Flute, B-Flat Soprano Saxophone optional sometimes.
Baritone Saxophone:  Generally a Low A Baritone Saxophone, B-Flat Clarinet, Flute, Alto Flute and Bass Clarinet.

Classical Musicians Double:
Yes….   even in the Orchestra the clarinet players play a B-Flat & A Clarinets sometime doubling on E-Flat and Bass Clarinets.
The flute players ofter play Piccolo & sometimes alto & bass flutes.

The day of playing only one woodwind are over.
